The Raymond T.
Jarr Memorial Award is the highest honor awarded by the U.S. Contract
Logistics unit of Kuehne + Nagel.
It was established
in remembrance of our former Director of Risk Management who died in
1993 after a distinguished 36-year career. Ray Jarr embodied The
Anchor Principles culture, formally "The House In Order"
culture. He stablished a yardstick against which present and future
associates can judge how they are living the Kuehne + Nagel culture.
| "With
Ray, it was never your problem, it was our problem; it was never
settle for less, because he never would. And you never hoped for
the best when working with Ray, you learned to expect it –
the same way you learned to expect honesty, decency, trust. All
those words rarely discussed in business magazines but that are
the essence of successful business partnerships." |
