Nautel sought a more efficient delivery process for storing more than 1,500 spare-part items, then shipping to and providing tracking for clients. Service needed to be quick and reliable; customers contacting Nautel’s call center often are radio stations requiring parts for essential broadcasting equipment.
Nautel determined the best approach was an experienced logistics services provider and chose Kuehne + Nagel for its service flexibility, rapid start-up solution and order-specific picking-and-packing capabilities.
The new parts depot in Memphis, Tenn., will benefit all North American customers, but Nautel customers in the West will especially appreciate the enhanced service. "With this location, orders received up to 10 p.m. ET can be shipped for next-day delivery," said Kevin Rodgers, Nautel’s Manager of Customer Service.
